fractal as non-proft incubator
The city needs groups of people who will swim upstream, fight against injustice, be a voice for those without one, and simply do “good”.
Often, what keeps these groups from becoming reality is a lack of resources, time, leadership, or skillsets. fractal exists to help fight against this. We want to empower, resource, and develop leaders who will head the next generation of non-profits in the city. We want to do good by helping others “do good”. We want to spread the good around.
So we invite local non-profit startups to use the space at fractal to accomplish their goals and to push their work forward. Some share our office space. Others use our venue/event space to host community events. Our hope is to create an environment of shared-learning where leaders can both learn and share their experiences with others. This learning community will allow non-profit leaders to wrestle with vital questions of sustainability, fund-raising, and volunteer recruitment.
Our goal for each non-profit we work with is to propel them forward in the incubation period & to send them out on their own two feet to thrive and bring as much good as possible to the city.
If you are starting or have recently started a non-profit and would like to be consider for fractal’s non-profit incubator program, email Zack Newsome for more info about how to apply.
Our current Non-Profit partners:
The Rusty Spoke (a community bicycle initiative)
The Dojo Collective (a center for creative education)
